Inspiring millions—and welcoming millions more

Since its long-awaited opening day a few short years ago, the Museum has seen ever-increasing demand for distinctive learning experiences—and that meant raising $350 million in philanthropic gifts to support growing operations and the expansion of on-site and online programming.

As history-making events unfold with each passing day, millions look to NMAAHC—and other Smithsonian museums—to deepen understanding and connections.

Yes& Lipman Hearne created a striking, modern graphic identity, campaign idea, landing page, and customizable print leave-behinds that leverage the Museum’s iconic architecture and invite supporters to join in defining the future.

The “&”

The experienced event production teams within Yes& supported a series of donor engagement events for a different upcoming Smithsonian campaign (continue to watch this space for updates on this work!)

the Results

Shortly after the public launch of the campaign, the Museum had secured more than 67 percent of its fundraising goal, having raised $234 million of the $350 million goal. The campaign co-chairs and honorary co-chairs include iconic media and business leaders and two former presidents and first ladies.
