Opportunity
Yes& has provided association and event management for AFCEA Bethesda since 2014. The organization exists to foster partnerships between the federal government and industry on critical IT, energy, and infrastructure challenges. The chapter focuses on civilian agencies and has more than 1,800 members, representing B2G providers such as Booz Allen, Dell Technologies, Google Public Sector, GDIT, Microsoft, and Oracle.
One of the chapter’s premier programs, the Health IT Summit (HITS), has become a leading forum for federal healthcare innovation. As HITS grew, so did the complexity of delivering an experience worthy of its reputation.
Solution
Yes& transformed the Health IT Summit into an engaging, community-driven experience by elevating every attendee touchpoint - from content and speakers to branding and onsite execution. Working alongside AFCEA Bethesda, we led planning, managed vendors, and delivered a seamless event experience.
The result: more than $1 million in sponsorship and registration revenue, record-breaking attendance, and the most successful summit in the organization’s history. The enhanced experience strengthened the HITS brand and cemented its reputation as a must-attend event for the federal Health IT community.
